Thank You for riding in 2015
Thanks to the all participants who came out and rode the 2015 Tour. It was a beautiful day in Litchfield County on August 2nd, and that contributed to so many wonderful folks coming out. Because of such great support, we are proud to say that, WE DID IT! Because of your participation, and sponsorship, and donations, and with your support we surpassed our goal! At the end of action, we raised just over $101,000...and that put us over the 1 Million dollar mark for 12 years of hosting this ride. We thank our sponsors and partners, but most of all, we thank all of you for supporting this ride by participating and helping us raise these funds for the Cancer Care Fund of the Litchfield Hills. We extend to all of you, a heartfelt thanks!
The Mission of the Tour
The mission of The Tour is to bring together community resources with the common goal of raising funds to support the care, treatment, education and prevention of cancer for residents living, working, or receiving treatment for cancer in Northwest Connecticut. By donating funds to The Cancer Care Fund of the Litchfield Hills, Inc., we will have a positive effect locally, in the Northwest corner, by offering our support to our friends and families living with cancer.
On-line registration ended Wed. July, 29th, but don't worry!
We never limit the number of participants!
You can still register on the morning of the Tour by downloading and printing this Registration Form.
Just bring this completed form to the park the day of the Tour! We have lots of smiling volunteers helping with registration and there's minimal waiting.
New for 2015:
If you raise $750 or more in donations, you will receive a free Tour bike jersey and have your registration fee waived.
The 75 mile and 100 mile routes have been changed to eliminate the busy and bumpy stretch of Route 7 from Kent to Cornwall Bridge. This change will provide a more enjoyable and safer experience for the riders.
